ALO Interview
very well, actually said I was the best candidate he had ever seen

I honestly don't know what you expect to hear. You have good academics, clubs, and leadership, and included that quote from your ALO. What would you like us to tell you? I get the feeling you posted all of that not because you really have no idea what your chances are, but that you need reaffirmed for some reason. If your ALO tells you you are "the best candidate he has ever seen," then I think that would be a pretty good indicator of your chances. Sorry if I come across as being rude.

Yeah like zachogden says. I mean, you look good on paper, so as long as you present yourself well in your interviews, you should be able to feel pretty confident. But I guess you don't need to hear this because you seem to already be quite confident, USAFAbound. Just remember though that, while you are most likely fully qualified, there are plenty of 3Q'd people who are not offered appointments.

I had the same exact first impression as zachogden. If someone told you that you were the best, why are you coming to ask people that are not ALOs what to improve on. Shouldn't you ask your ALO if that really is your concern?

If you want to hear how qualified you are, be sure you are very competative with the details you provided. I would caution you to keep the "look at me I'm the best" in check when June comes around. The Cadre will be only to happy to point out you are no longer the Big Fish in the pond. Probably a good idea not to mention the CAP or AFJROTC stuff at that time too. You will have many opportunities to show your strengths during BCT.

You look like a very good candidate, I wouldn't worry about getting in as long as you present yourself well. With your qualifications, it will be hard, but try hard not to come off as cocky during intreviews.
