<p>I think the best place to buy a bike is on ebay and have it sent to you. If you have a car, go out to the suburbs and hit a garage sale and buy one used. The bike shops in Berkeley (there are 3 or 4) are all pretty expensive and so are the pawn shops. Wal Mart is a possibility, unless you want a “name” bike.</p>
