I know of chegg.com and I also like amazon... but any other recommendations?

[BIGWORDS.com](http://www.bigwords.com)

[West Campus Books | Austin, TX | Home of the Textbook Rental Plan](http://www.westcampusbooks.com) offers $1000 worth of books for the fall and spring for the rental fee of $379. They might be worth looking at for books.

amazon.com yep

Craigslist and Ebay are great places to buy textbooks. E-books are also cheaper, as well as international versions. Generally, international versions contain the same information as the regular version of the textbook. Paperback is also a good way to go. Definitely buy used. You can get away with buying a previous edition. Just e-mail your professor to make sure using a previous edition is okay. Obviously, don’t buy the 1st edition if they’re asking for 7th edition. Getting 5th or 6th edition is fine for the most part. Renting is also another affordable option.

I always get my books from Amazon, Half.com, or Craigslist.

There is now a listing for textbooks on myedu.com. It is an easy way to compare prices and has links to the websites.
