Incoming freshman here, help is appreciated!

I see someone else is looking for answers on both reddit and CC!

Morrison library (located to your right immediately after you go through Doe Hall’s main entrance). It has a bunch of comfy armchairs and sofas, and is notorious on campus as the nap spot. Apparently they changed it so that you’re not supposed to nap there (not sure if this correct) but I’m pretty sure they don’t enforce it, at least from what I’ve heard. The only problem with Morrison though is that it closes early (I think 5 PM on most days) but it’s good for a midafternoon nap! Otherwise, Memorial Glade (lawn in front of Doe) if it’s a nice sunny day.

I’ve seen people sleeping in the arm chairs in the math/stats library, but that’s never looked too comfortable to me. If it’s nice out I prefer Memorial Glade : D

Most student lounges in each college at Berkeley (or even department) have couches, I think.

nap in haas library in those boss sit up chairs. good to lean your head on to the side imo
