I have the official book, and I did all those tests, multiple times. Then I bought the Princeton Review, which was absolute garbage. The lines were misprinted in the english section. The science questions were a crapshoot since they asked you to make conclusions based on evidence that wasn't there. Cause of that, I never did the tests in it.

Where else can I get good practice tests? I found 2 pdfs of official ACT tests from prep booklets for 06-07 and 05-06. Does anyone else have any such tests, and does anyone have recommendations for books with good tests that are similar to the official tests?

I hear Kaplan is pretty good. A little harder than the real thing but not extremely unreasonable.
Also, Princeton Review has a pretty solid reputation for being a quality ACT prep book. In my book (Cracking the ACT: '09), the misprinted lines only occured like 2 or 3 times in the english section and the science section was difficult, but not crazy.

I suggest you correct the English line errors, and take the Princeton Review Tests. They are probably the most accurate tests other than those officially provided by the ACT. Just my opinion.

you must have gotten a rotten version of the princeton review book, quad, b/c PR is usually one of the better books... Kaplan is good (really good for reading).. the red book (Real ACT book) is good b/c it's made up of actual tests... Barron's is good too.. very hard, but it makes the real thing seem a lot easier (that's how it was for me, at least)
