Good pre-med major?

Is it a common major? I heard that majoring in bio/chem is common and med schools want diversity</p>

<p>Of course - any undergraduate major is perfectly suitable (and even quite advisable) for admission to medical school provided that one has satisfactorily completed the medical school prerequisites.</p>
