Good pre-med programs

Hope. Kalamazoo. Earlham. Lawrence. St. Olaf. Virtually 100% med school admissions from each. Lots of research opportunities (especially at Hope.) They are all matches, though getting harder every year.

All those colleges seem hard to get into. Which one is the easiest? Do they have early assurance or just really good med school admittances.

Thanks.

Knox has an "early assurance" program. Of those I listed above, Hope accepts about 70% of applicants, Kalamazoo around 65%. The rest are a bit more difficult.

Thats good the only problem is before you mentioned these Ive never heard of them.

thanks for amazing response mini will look into them all, also added Creighton University from a friends recommendation

Mike, What is Creighton known for?

it is known for being a great pre-med school with lots of research opportunities and great classes according to my research into it so far

Is Temple good?

i dunno, i know u don't like public schools, but i really recommend you go to a decent state public school with a decent pre-med program. Try hard during college and aim for a good med school.

New York Public School System = ugly

only two i would even consider are stonybrook and binghamton - i have personal beef with bing and not too fond of stonybrook

Austin College has 100% acceptance or nearly that for med school. It is in Sherman, Texas and is one of the "colleges that change lives". It puts lots of focus on study-abroad and has a 4-1-4 schedule, where during Jan term you can take fun classes or go abroad for the month.

Austin College seems interesting, on Princeton Review it says 17% go to med school upon graduation. Will check it out

It also offers a lot of merit scholarships and is not that expensive to begin with. also, the pre-med courses aren't generally "weed-out" types.

im worried it will be too hard for me to get into the school with my bad stats

Also added Hendrix College to my list to consider, here is my current update list

Reach:
I don't know yet?

Match/Safety???:
Creighton U
Austin College
Hendrix College

what happened to drexel?

looked up on princetonreview, and less than 1% of graduate go onto medical school. I would like other students who are shooting for premed too for study partners/friends/etc.

graduates of Drexel*

Drexel has its own med school..Thats kind of weird.

yeah i have a friend who's going into the virginia commonwealth's BS/MD path
