and i mean the last time i took the SAT was in january and i predicting 2200-2300 range next year… My GPA will prob go up senior year

Well my advice is that you apply to at least 3-4 match/safety schools (tulane, drexel, stony brook, union, or your instate school, etc), and then few more match/reach schools (bc, bu, tufts, emory, etc) and apply to as many as reach schools you like (hopkins, cornell, etc)

FYI kevinc2, BU is not harder to get into than Tulane. Not sure why you keep putting them in the category with BC, Tufts and Emory. SAT and ACT ranges for BU are lower than Tulane’s, and thei % accepted is twice as high. BU is more of a safety for him than Tulane by a fair amount.

I agree with you, fallenchemist, that BU is not as competitive as BC, Emory, Tufts, but I still think BU is as competitive as Tulane. BU’s published average gpa/sat tends to be lower than tulane’s because BU includes stats for enrollees at College of General Studies and College of Fine Arts. Also, BU has more pre med/pre health applicants than Tulane so OP’s application might face an uphill battle compared to his app to tulane.

is there a difference b/w the BU 7 year liberal arts/medical program and just taking 4 years liberal arts then going to med school?? Like is it harder to get into the pre med rather than regular
