good prep book for summer studying ap calc

i'm taking ap calc ab next year but i want to self study bc (my school doesn't offer bc). Whats a good prep book that I can use to study over the summer.

Dude, I want to do the same. Somebody help!

bumppppppppppp

Hey. Me too. The calc stuff is sequential right, so doing the BC part during the summer before AB wouldn't work, correct?

my plan is to study ab during the summer so that i can concentrate on bc during the school year

Try Arco. Its explanation is clear and superb. Another good review book is PR. Both books are easy to self-study. Good luck!!!

arco is out of print now.

but luckily its at my library

Arco is out of print, but it is now called Peterson's. Same book. Since you have the time and (hopefully) the motivation to learn the material, Peterson's is amazing. It's good at teaching and gives PLENTY of challenging practice problems along the way. Highly recommended.

I used Barron's during AP Calculus AB.

But, I really recommend a true textbook.

I thought Stewart was alright, but my favorite, Calculus and Analytic Geometry by Finney and Thomas, is out of date.

If you want to go hardcore, then go with Apostol.
