Soccer season has started here, and it's time for me to get back into shape. The title says it all! :)

Eminem and trance.

Fall Out Boy wakes me up.

I'm usually into hard rock, but when I run it tends to tire me out. Strangely, I find that classical music works the best for me. It's relaxing, and I feel less tired. And no, it's not because it makes me slow down and fall asleep :) Try it?

Trance is OK too

Its soccer season all year.

I like listening to some disturbed, mudvayne ect. when running though.
There are also some decent techno songs that are not bad for running to. Like the semi hit Sandstorm by darude or something like that.

Anything from Black Eyed Peas, Jerk it out- Caesars, Hey Ya!-Outkast, are some of my favs.

"I ran" by flock of seagulls lol.

Train .

"Strangely, I find that classical music works the best for me. It's relaxing, and I feel less tired. And no, it's not because it makes me slow down and fall asleep"

I like to listen to relaxing music, too. Fast-paced music makes me feel too tired... Maybe slower music helps me keep a steady pace and I... have longer strides or something. I don't know =)

Two-Headed Boy Pt. 2 by Neutral Milk Hotel, Kids Aflame by Arms... If I want something faster though, I listen to Serpentine Pad by Pavement... so angry =D

Also "Ran" by the French Kicks... hahaha. I crack myself up.

i must say that trance music does it the best imo.

ever since i started running to trance music back in 10th grade, i've improved and improved. i was region champ in XC this past year, and i have to say that listening to all that trance music got me through all the late night training.

by the way, di.fm is the largest free trance radio station on the net. check it out for all types of electronic dance music (including trance, etc.)

Agree with drunner2007 about trance music.

I have to say, the music they play at Abercrombie & Fitch is generally great for running! I ahem have them in a special playlist for cardio.

I usually listen to light rock, reggae, and jazz. But when I go running, I crank up the hip hop -- I think the energetic nature of the music keeps me going.

I usually listen to hip-hop or metal when running. Those get me pumped.

When I was training for soccer last year, I did some heavy downloading for my ipod: Muse, black eyed peas, missy elliot (lose control, we run this), that guy's band.. who was in linkin park - something minor, the whole linkin park album, Fergie, gwen stefani.
(I'm a girl so I'm not sure if fergie and gwen stefani are.. 'your thing'.)

I've been using Dashboard, by Modest Mouse.

LCD Soundsystem made a ~40 min jogging track.

Rock--disturbed, breaking benjamin, static-X, korn, skindred, cold, seether, powerman 5000, slipknot, mushroomhead, nirvana, thousand foot krutch, soil, and evan's blue... yeah, it's a long list.

Btw, some previous poster was thinking of Fort Minor, and the guy's name is Shanoda (idk if that's the spelling). I listen to For Minor's "Remember the Name" when running as well, but all their other songs suck.

"Kaboom!" by Ursula 1000,
"The Seed (2.0)" by The Roots

techno...oh and basketball music...such as lets get ready to rumble!!
oh and if u want pacing jogging music i recommend enya

Eye of the Tiger.
