I am a senior right now and I took this test in October. However, I scored in the low 700s as I only have AP Physics 1 knowledge. Is that a decent score or should I just not send it in?
This score would fall in around the 50th to 60th percentile depending on your exact score. It depends on how selective the college you’re applying to would be for that. More competitive technical schools look for scores in the higher 700s. If you can apply with better scores (with equally relevant subject tests like math and chemistry or something), try that. If not, send in your physics score and don’t sweat it.
Many state flagships have great engineering programs and don’t even require subject tests. Keep that in mind.
