Hi, I took the SAT yesterday and was wondering what would be a solid SAT score for Wharton. I am fairly confident that I got an 800 in math and a 750+ in reading. However, I found the essay to be difficult and the writing MC was generally on the harder side. What would be a good score for the Writing section that would make me statistically qualified for Wharton? On a side note, I have a legacy at UPenn as my dad attended Wharton for both undergrad and grad. Would that effect anything drastically? I am about 99% sure I will apply ED to Wharton.

Don’t worry too much about it mate. SAT is just one component of the overall application. I would think 2250+ would be a great score which is what you seem to have achieved. All the best :)

23+ is optimal

24 is optimal and still not a guarantee that an applicant will beat out a 2250 student. 2250 is fine if that’s what you get. Spend time on other aspects of your application.

I got a 2320 with a 800M, 800CR, and 720 Writing. Looks like I am high enough. Thanks for advice.
