<p>Nonsense. Anything above 1800 is a good score. An 1800 puts you in the 80th percentile. That’s a good score to me. All my friends in the 1800-2000 range got into their first choice. My friend with a ~1950 got into Cornell and our Valedictorian got like a 1940. You don’t need a 2400 to get into a great school…a test score is only part of the application. </p>
<p>A 2000 puts you in the 90th percentile, which is a great score imo. A 2100 is what you’d ideally want for top 25 schools and at least a 2200 for top 10 schools.</p>
<p>I got a 2270 and am going to the #20 school. Just a score won’t get you into a top 10 school. But even if you get like an 1800…be proud, you did waaaaay better than most and can get into great schools.</p>
