My SAT Reasoning is ok at 2100 and all 3 of my AP tests are good as well with nothing less than a score of 5.

But I recently just got back my ACT score and did absolutely horrible with a composite score of 25 :(

I went into the test not only unprepared but also with a high fever and sickness, having to actually excuse myself early to leave to the bathroom to throw up at the end of the test and actually spent the rest of that weekend in bed.

I couldn't focus on what I knew because of my illness, and what I knew was less than I thought since everyone at my school claimed the ACT was loads easier than the SAT. Turns out I was wrong.

But now I'm extremely worried, as I now only have one other chance to retake the ACT before it is too late (I'm a senior btw)

I also looked at the common app and they ask if I have taken the test and my highest scores and any future test dates. Can I simply put the next test date instead and choose not to report it? And if I do have to report the score, how much do you think this could hurt me?

Will appriciate any advice/insight. Thanks in advance :)

If you are applying to schools that require you to send all tests then you must do that. Most schools just want one test or the other so send the SAT.

Just got put on the standby list for the Oct. 27th ACT and then signed up for 3 subject tests on the November SAT date.

Just wondering, is it true we can send in tests after certain applications are due?

For example; I’m applying to a few UC’s whose applications are due by the end of November but idk if I’ll have all my scores back by then. Can I send them even after i’ve sent the rest of the application?
