I recently just finished my first semester at IU and I'm currently trying to get into Kelley. I plan on taking 18.5 credit hours next semester in order to complete all of my GenEds out of the way. Here is a look of how my schedule will look like:

Again I'm trying to get into Kelley, but I feel I can manage to maintain my studies with this schedule. Any input about the teachers in these classes would be greatly appreciated.

It’s a lot of credits, but as long as you have good time management the classes aren’t too tough. Hist-H 206 is one i’d be concerned with. Over the past 7 years only 66% of Deliyannis’ students have gotten a B or above. What gened requirement are you taking it for?

Yeah History H206 was the one I was worried about. I’m taking it for my World Culture GenEd. Is there any other easy World Culture classes I can take?

If you are trying to get into Kelley your GPA is important, so I would highly suggest taking as many Gen Ed courses at a junior college or on-line. LIke hkem123 mentioned - they can be much harder than you think. And what for?

Well after next semester, I will only need one more GenEd, which will be World Culture if I decide to drop Hist-H 206. If I keep it though, I will not have to do any more GenEds. I looked on the IU grade distribution website for Deliyannis and it seems that it varies from 65-85% of kids receiving at least a B in the class, which isn’t bad.
