Good schools for biochem/bioengineering?

Besides the UC's, like Cal, LA, SD, what are some comparable privates for studying biology and related majors?

Quick summary

GPA breakdown =
Freshman 4.0 4.0
Sophomore 4.0 4.0
Junior 4.5 4.67

Subject Test
Math II, Chemistry, Biology - 800
Sat I
2190

EC's
Decent, not amazing, but not horrible. (Wont list them out, just think average).

So, I know HYPS is a reach for me, but there are plently of privates out there in the top 40 rankings, but I'm not sure how they fare in the science department.

Some schools I was thinking about were USC, NYU, Cornell, etc..
Thanks.

Case Western is an excellent school for biochem and bioengineering at the undergrad level. Students get opportunities to work at the Cleveland Clinic.

The Cleveland Clinic is ballin'. and who wouldn't want to be able to go see Browns games every sunday!

Johns Hopkins was ranked #3 in Chronicle's ranking of Biochemistry programs and for Biomedical engineering, its obviously among the best alongside Duke for undergrad.

MIT has a pretty solid Bioengineering program. My friend at MIT switched from Bioengineering to Management because he wanted to make some money in his life. lol
