Good Schools for Environmental Engineering

I'm a senior in high school and want to go into Environmental Engineering for college. I'm contemplating applying to the following schools:

U of MN (accepted)
Purdue
Rose-Hulman
Johns Hopkins
Rice
Northwestern
Stanford
Harvard

Are those good for environmental engineering? If not, what other schools should I look into?

Thanks a lot in advance!

I'm interested in this too. Free bump!

From my own research, Stanford, JHU are respected in the field. BTW, IMO, engineering at Harvard seems to be a big waste, considering how Law, Med and Business are like the real reasons why people go to Harvard.

Anyway, I suggest you consider UIUC, SUNY-Environmental Science and Forestry, and Berkeley, because they are all really respected schools for enviro. eng., esp. UIUC.

Good Luck!

I heard UC Davis has a very strong environmental program too, since they are basically the flagship agricultural and environmental studies school in our UC system.

Thanks! Stanford and JHU are definitely my top choices.

Some of the top colleges for Environmental Engineering:

Stanford University
University of Illinois Urbana Champaign
University of California Berkeley
Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Johns Hopkins University
Georgia Institute of Technology
University of Texas Austin
University of Michigan Ann Arbor
Cornell University
Carnegie Mellon University

U.C. Davis does have a very strong environmental engineering program. It's rank 12 in graduate study.

Carnegie Mellon is pretty good in environmental engineering. Definitely take a look.

Rose is good and a great school

The best ranked schools for Environmental Engineerng are:
1. Stanford University
2. University Of Illinois - Urbana - Champaign
3. University Of California - Berkeley
4. Massachusetts Institute Of Technology
5. Johns Hopkins University

in response, go to Stanford or Johns Hopkins if you get in

^^ where do you source this from?
