<p>The fact that you are basing your "argument" on a few refutable, and even more so, erroneous facts, shows how ignorant you are. Schools like Rice and Georgetown are famous for certain programmes (Architecture, Foreign Service), and even half-wits (in other words- you) would know that.

<p>hotivy - "liberal hellhole" goodness gracious. I have enough friends at Harvard and Brown who would testify that in many ways, Brown offers a better undergraduate experience than Harvard. The thing that alarms me about you is that, see, a lot of people will have something against a particular university. There's always a way to argue that H/Y/P/S/M/C/xyzlmnop suck. It's narrowminded and offensive to others that you classify any un-HYP school as below you. Please feel proud of your accomplishments, but recognize that the schools you're so set on have many more applicants who are better than you. </p>
