<p>Ok, say what you want, but Cornell is your safety? You're obviously just doing this blindly. My father is a professor at Cornell. You can get an amazing education at Cornell. Harvard is the hardest Ivy to get into and Cornell is the easiest, true. However, they say that Cornell is the hardest or one of the hardest Ivys to "get out of". Meaning, Cornell students have to work really hard to succeed. You sound as if you're not taking Cornell seriously. Have you ever considered that maybe your safety school should NOT be an Ivy?
That said, there are tons of schools out there that are just as good as the Ivy League schools. It sounds like you'd turn your nose up at any school that's not an Ivy, however.
Also, there's nothing wrong with State schools. There are lots of people who just can't afford to go to other schools. State schools are a good bargain and there are many that offer quite a good education. Obviously, state schools aren't for you, but that's not the case for everyone, so don't act as if there's some kind of shame in going to a state school.</p>

<p>the beauty of going premed is that ur guarenteed a job at residency after u get ur MD degree in medical skool, so technically, skool doesnt matter, ur gonna get a job no matter wat if ur a doctor... sry ivy league chick but u wanna see my stats??</p>
