Good score for SAT II Physics

I haven't taken Physics II AP yet (that comes next year), so what would you all say is a good score for the Physics SAT II after just 1 year of Phyiscs class? By good score I mean for colleges like Duke, Virginia, Vanderbilt, or UNC.

1 year physics class barely scrapes the surface. I got a 680 after acing physics I H.

Kaplan didn't prepare me at all for this past one. I took Honors Physics and had one of the highest grades in the class, got 780+ on all Kaplan practice tests, and somehow got a 730 on the past SAT II.

Of course, this past SAT II was unbelievably hard.

As you could see in the topic I made, I got an 800 on the Physics SAT II and I only had one year of honors physics. So, basically, it's possible. It just depends entirely on your own personal ability and comfort level.

Ok, because I made a 690 and was really surprised and happy that I got that. There were quite a few topics on the test that I never covered in my class. I think I got lucky...I don't deserve the standardized test scores I have gotten lately. Oh well!

I used Kaplan and usually scored high 700s on the practice tests. I ended up with an 800 on the real thing.

jlamp, anything 700+ would be sufficient for those schools. Although, 750+ would probably impress the adcoms and help your chances of getting in.

does anyone know of a review book that would help? i got a 660, which im pretty disappointed with

I'm an international and I got 700 with only one preparation test, nothing more. I'm retaking it because, I'm applying to elite technical colleges.
