What's considered to be a "good" score for SATII bio? What if I were to screw up on my sat (low 700s) but get a 5 on the AP test?

i'm planning on majoring in some form of biology or chemistry

if you dont get a five on the ap test...you wont get above 700....unless you majorly screwed up. a good score is above 750. in general.

im confident in my ability to get a 5 on the ap exam, its just that i messed up on the test day for SAT II.

4 AP bio, 720 SAT Bio-M
Admitted to Hopkins as a math major.

5 on AP Bio, 710 SAT Bio-M
Admitted and attending as a math-physics major.

thanks a lot guys :D

i'm not gonna even say my SATII bio score cuz it was horrible.
and admitted to hopkins as a neuroscience major.

Don't take my word for it, but I think it's more important to be well-rounded. I guess if you don't have many xtra curriculars, then it is important to get a really high score, but you would probably FAINT if you saw my SATs, and like fastfingers, I got in (but as a biology major...I didn't even take the bio SAT IIs!). hope that helps. don't stress. you will get into a college.

Karenness: lol, now i'm curious what those fainting scores are.

haha alright, thanks guys. maybe im just worrying too much x_x.

690 on SAT2 IIs Biology

Admitted into JHU attending as Nanotechnology major.

690 on SAT II Bio.
Accepted as Biology major.

ur experience is very valuable to me! i was freakin out about retakin sat 2 bio with a score of 700. but maybe now ill just relax and let it be. (i had taken the sat2 last year and ap test last year=5.. but i had no time to retake the sat2)...

Lol, no idea...I never took a single AP science course.

hey i am a freshmen in high school and currently taking biology. i am preparing to take the sat 2 biology this fall. is it a good idea? and do colleges know that u took it in ur freshmen year and give some consideration? also what is good sat2 bio score if i want to go to a 7 year medical program? thanks

Ap bio 5; sat bio(m) 770

To sierrapassion, if you plan to take AP Bio, then hold off on the SAT II until you take the AP exam. You’ll be much better prepared. 7 year medical programs look at a lot more than just test scores. You’ll need the whole package.

@Chone I got a 4 on the AP Bio test, and an 800 on the Bio-M SAT II.

Down goes your theory.
