good score?

yeah yeah, I know it's "all relative" but seriously. I'm applying to some competitive schools, taking the test next week. What is "good"? Above 700? Or even better?

Competitive as in top 25? 750 is “good”, 800 is “better” Its completely subjective. If you’re a straight A student with ECs that would be the envy of anyone, then 700 is probably “enough”. If you’re a 3.0 student with little to no extras, then heck you’d better be getting an 800; its completely subjective.

Well, you could check the admission stats of the schools you’re applying to and see how your stats compare to the average, if you really want to know.

where can i find those? whenever i’ve looked, they don’t usually have the scores on each individual subject test do they?

If ur appyling to top schools u want a score AT LEAST 100 pts higher than the average- you should aim to get the highest possible, b/c unlike the SAT, subject tests actually test stuff u learn in and out of school
