zhioakdal- Sichuan. Maybe you can friend me on facebook or RenRen if you want! Just PM me!

It seems like everybody got one but me. Oh, I am sooooo screwed…!

ETA:

I just found a blog from the admissions office at UR:
http://admissionsblog.richmond.edu/2010/02/16/more-about-the-admission-committee/

Someone asked a question about sending out “likely letters”, and the admission officer was unfamiliar with that term.

Dropofred - there will be a freshman class of 800 students +/-. half a dozen of them have posted here. I wouldn’t be too concerned.

@PAVenturer I hope you’re right. I wonder how many of these “likely letters” they send out?

That blog link was to a 2010 post. Maybe this is the first year U of R has done likely letters. We are still impatiently waiting for one too…I do fear that the longer it takes to get a letter (if we get one) the less likely there will be any merit aid offered. SIGH!

Well, we have not rec’d one either, and our daughter is a sophomore there, and our son applied with really strong stats (33 ACT, etc) so I am in hopes that they sent them “selectively”. It’s not his top choice, but we really expected him to get in! We’ll see within the week or so…

I received one a few days ago
It is one of my top choices and I didn’t think I would get in!!
