I recieved an email from the financial department saying that I havent turned in all of my components for the financial aid application. Could this mean that I have been admitted to the school and that they are reviewing my financial aid application to determine the amount of money I will recieve or is this something they do with all of the financial aid applicants?

I received that email as well....hoping its a good sign

I received too! Hope it's a good sign! ;) Good luck!

same here,m good luck

they send it to everyone...sorry to burst ur bubble

^ that seems hugely inefficient. Why would they need your financial aid forms if you've been rejected?

the admissions office and the fin. aid office is run by two different groups...they look at everyones fin. aid situation even before they decide on you...hence have all your paper work mailed by i think it was feb. 1st. the email is sent out to everyone because its done by a computer system where it checks if all your paper work is there or not and if its not then it sends you an email to get it in...

my friend and I both applied to JHU RD, and haven't received an e-mails like that... -___- makes me very nervous. My W-2 forms are not even in (some work situation my dad is going through) so I was expecting to receive an e-mail or letter of some sort, but I haven't. So I guess not everyone is receiving the email lol

AHHHH

logitech is right, the financial aid office runs independently of the admissions office as far as i know, so they do a preliminary review everyone's financial information regardless of whether they are accepted or not...

Yeah I wish I could use that e-mail as a good sign, but I'm afraid they are entirely independent.

i've gotten that too..
sent in only the fafsa
..there were other forms we were supposed to do?
=X

..when is it too late to get financial aid? can one work things out with fin aid office after being admitted??
