Good sign, or neutral?

My d applied to Vassar under Regular Decision, and got her supplement to them in late November. Last night she received a call to set up her alumni interview.

I took this as a good sign, since it's so early in the RD cycle, they still have EDII applicants to interview, and they've said that there aren't a lot of RD interviews given.

Now obviously this is not a bad sign, but does it mean anything at all?

sounds good to me.. i forgot that i had t be contacted to get an interview... i want one too! :(

My son also applied RD and was contacted for an inteview at the end of Dec. He sent in his supplement the second week in November.
I hope this is a good sign because he is very enthusiastic about Vassar. I think it would be a good fit for him.
His interview is scheduled for this Sunday.

My daughter had an interview with Brown in December, but hasn't been contacted yet by our local Vassar alum-rep--although she met and talked with her a couple of months ago at a college fair. I don't know if this means that Vassar is not interested in her at all, or if they're so fantastically impressed with her that she doesn't need an interview. OK, the latter probably isn't likely. But she does have super stats, recs, etc. I refuse to worry!
