Good sign?

I applied early decision for the DPT program and haven't heard back yet, however I know it was sent in the mail (because my dad ended up calling Ithaca without me asking him to do so). Decisions are suppose to come out the 15th of December (this Monday) at the latest and I'm just wondering if there's a chance it could be a good decision? I did apply 2 days before the November 1st deadline and since its rolling I figured it would come late...but this is making me anxious and stressed. Including since my unweighted GPA is a 3.11 (honor classes) and I didn't send scores because they were unrepresentative of myself. I've shown a lot of interest though (like I live on myithaca) and my essay/recs were good! Plus myithaca account is still active, which I take as a good sign since I've read that your account gets deleted if you were rejected. So bottom line, could this be a good sign?

Well found out my answer today, denied from the DPT program however they are willing to allow me admittance for another major. So now I’m at a crossroads.

Sorry to hear that man. I applied EA to the DPT program and i’m hoping to hear back soon. The program at Ithaca is crazy competitive. As for your crossroads, if you really want to go to Ithaca, i would suggest applying for clinical health studies, which is the undergraduate degree required to get into the DPT program. I think the PT site at Ithaca’s website has an explanation of transferring into the program, or you could call an admissions rep and they will explain everything.

Good luck to ya man.
