<p>Chicago is typically regarded as the best for sociology, and has strong political science too. If you don't mind the atmosphere (which isn't for everyone), that would probably be your best bet. </p>
<p>For strong sociology, also try: Washington, UCLA, NYU, Indiana, Northwestern, Arizona, Ohio State, Johns Hopkins...</p>
