Good Stats programs in second tier.

I'm looking for some good UC's or CSU's for statistics for a student who is reaching for second tier schools in either system. I applied to UCSB,UCI,UCSD,UCD, and CPP,CPSLO,SDSU,CSUFull,CSUN,CSUChico. Input on other schools would also be helpful because I may stay for another year at community college to finish linear alg. and diff. eq. (maybe some CS stuff) I have signed a TAG for UCSB for actuarial science. I have also thought about a job as an operations research analyst .

Operations research is often found under industrial engineering, which is offered at CPP, CPSLO, CSUEB, SJSU, and UCB.

CSUEB, SFSU, SSU, UCB, UCLA, and UCR offer statistics majors, but are not on your list.

CSUB, CSUCI, CSULB, and CSUS offer math majors with statistics emphasis, but are not on your list.

These can be looked up by looking in the “explore majors” section of http://www.assist.org .

thanks, ill look into those. I know csu east bay is still accepting apps for undeclared, maybe ill apply. They have stats as well as industrial eng.
