When I hear languages, I think Middlebury. It's THE school for foreign languages.

And I'm pretty sure Elon and Kalamazoo are known for their study abroad programs.

Also look at this school: AUR - The American University of Rome

The University of Richmond in VA was ranked "Hottest School for International Studies" by Newsweek, and an alumna just donated $9 million to create an International Center.

Italy is one of the most popular study abroad destinations, along with the UK and Spain. Almost any school will have a program in Italy or will approve an outside program (e.g. NYU in Florence).

thanks for the advice. much appreciated

Besides the ones mentioned, any good New England schools?

They're not quite New England...but look at American University and GWU. Both are internationally focused.

Yeah, by New England I really meant upper east coast. Thanks.

any others per favore?
