I took a practice test from CB's study guide for all subject tests and I got a 700. However, I'm aiming for an 800, so I was wondering if anybody used a good book/aid that helped him get a 750+ score. On amazon.com Barron's, PR, Mcgraw-Hill all have below 3 star reviews.. so yeah.

Barron’s teaches and covers the material well. The tests are much harder than the real things. Use Barrons.

I heard there were many mistakes in the answers for barron’s though.

^ Yes, but in my experience using Barron’s, the mistakes weren’t that they gave you the wrong answer, but that they listed the wrong letter and the right answer.

Made-up example: 3)4+4=?
A) 8 B)16 C)4 D) 2 E)1
And the answer in the back would say: 3) B. The correct answer is 8.

Hopefully that made sense – it did in my mind anyways :)

Anyhow, Princeton Review gives a good general review of the concepts covered and has reasonable practice exams, if you don’t want to start out with something hard like Barron’s.

Best resource: Sparknotes online tests (only because they break the results down by topic) and, most importantly, your precalculus textbook. IMO, prep books are overpriced when a math textbook has more practice problems than you’ll ever need. I don’t know, maybe I’m spoiled by Chalk Dust. :D

Yeah I might just get barron’s. I just need a quick review since I have forgotten a lot of geometry. (Rising junior and going to be taking ap calculus bc)
