Good summer programs for print journalism, screenwriting and acting.

It cannot be like 10k and a couple thousand would be the most my parents would ever pay. It also cannot be that much money, just for 5 days! I already know of IU- Bloomington's journalism program and want to go to that but need other idea's. I like NYU's acting programs, but it's way too much money. I also have looked into NYCDA's program for acting. I would probably want it to be on the east coast, but if it's for screenwriting then the west coast would be better. Also, any creative writing programs I may be open to as well. Thanks!

Interlochen (6-7K for 6 weeks, some programs are three weeks):
-Screenwriting
-Stage acting
-Creative Writing

Northwestern (4 weeks, not sure how much moola)
-Journalism

Oh, and Interlochen’s awesome with aid. Financial aid if you need it, and merit if you’re just that good.

Thank you! I will look into Interlochen. I already heard of Northwestern’s program, but you have to be a rising senior unfortunately.

doesnt nyu offer financial assistance? or do you not qualify for this?

There’s something at Princeton, i believe, called J-Camp. I think you have to be a minority though.

J-Camp is not for minority only and it is not at Princeton. Google J-Camp and you will find more information. It is a good program and is free with all expense paid.

NYU does offer aid, but it seems more for the lower class. I googled J-Camp and something about an Asian journalism camp up. I also realized Interloch is too long and the dates aren’t good.
