I am a rising sophomore in high school and am trying to plan out my summer to keep myself busy and keep myself academically and mentally involved. Are there any good, possibly prestigious summer programs/internships for rising sophomores that a science/biology/chemistry type of person would like??

There are some at Brown University that are good and my daughter did some Johns Hopkins CTY programs which were also good. One summer she almost did Explo which is at Yale but not a Yale program.

So I am considering doing a few programs. Could you guys help me choose the ones that are the most intensive and those that would help my resume in the future, even if just a little bit.

You should check out Santa Clara University’s engineering and science free internships. They’re prestigious and hard to get accepted into! Good luck

This is an old thread, odds are not good that the OP will see it… jer1830, if you want to know what program they ended up at, I would suggest you send a private message to them.
