<p>I got nominated to the NYLF on medicine and NYLC but have read that it is not worth all the money. It doesn't even look prestigious for colleges. It is very expensive. Should I consider going just for the experience?</p>
<p>Does anyone know any great summer programs that look good for colleges and are also a good learning, FUN experience? I heard SSP and TASP are good summer programs. Are they prestigious?</p>

<p>RSI and TASP are about the most prestigious summer camps (except for olympiad ones), and others such as SSP, Mathcamp, LEAD, Ross, all seem to be prestigious and worthwhile programs. Honestly, I haven't heard of a prestigious program that is not also very enjoyable. The prestigious ones get to be that way because the few kids they accept are the ones that will genuinely enjoy whatever it is that is done there.</p>

<p>I know some people who have and I've heard that it's a great experience. However, it's really not THAT prestiges and quite expensive.</p>
<p>I was at Harvard SSP last summer and it was fantastic. Enjoyed every minute. Plus, if you go as a rising senior, no curfew =)</p>
