Good Summer Programs to put on College App for a Highschooler wanting to be a Computer Science Major

Hi everyone! So my goal is to be a computer science major and I am currently a rising junior. I was wondering if there were any good summer programs to put on college apps for engineering majors in general. Thanks! (I am a male Socal resident if that helps in giving a program.)

Try mysummeradvisor.com, look under the Academic Programs tab and try Technology and also Engineering. (You can filter by state, etc.) There are a lot of programming camps! There are also lots of engineering, but not so many specifically in computer engineering. 3D printing is a popular area and you learn CAD/CAM software.

That site also includes research/internship opportunities. Don’t assume there isn’t research in computer science/engineering, so look at that too.

Many universities allow high school students to take regular undergraduate courses, so you might also consider taking Java or Intro to Engineering over next summer. You will get the college credit and a transcript.
