Good Test Dates for the SAT?

I'm taking the SAT two more times (I'm a junior) to try to score a 2100+ on the SAT after scoring a flat 2000 on the October SAT. When's a good time to take it?

My choices are probably:

January 28th --Winter break to study, with a four week gap in between my studying and the actual test

June 2nd --I'll have a solid week of summer to study

October --I'll have the whole summer, but the thing is, there's a huge gap in between my studying and the test. And I wouldn't actually enjoy studying for the SAT during the summer.

At the moment, I'm leaning towards the June and October SAT. Would it be detrimental if I took the January SAT and cancel the scores if I feel that I didn't well?

I loved taking the Ocober SAT, I studied all summer then supplemented those skills by getting back into school-mode in september. I improved from a ppsat 156 to an 1860 on the may SAT to a 2150 in october. Good luck. You should be scoring 2200+ a year from now.
