Good Top rated school with good martial arts program?

Like Ivy league schools. I want that a lot. Probably the major thing I will be doing for fun and probably debating.

I imagine if you go to school near a city of any significant size you'd be able to find a gym with little problem. How important to you is it to have the program be university-affiliated?

Iuno it just seem kinda cool. But yeah, you make a good point about that gym thing.

If you really care that much about martial arts just go to KyotoU or UTokyo you'll find great martial arts programs (of most popular styles) there.

MIT has TONS of martial arts clubs. Seriously. Looking at the Club Sports page, 11 out of the 31 listed club sports are martial arts, and I can think of at least one martial arts club that's not listed there. It is just a huge thing in the community.

I'm in the American Jiu-Jitsu club (though currently taking a break from it), and our head sensei just recently tested (successfully) for 3rd degree black belt in New York City. He's a recent recipient of his PhD in electrical engineering from MIT, and started jiu-jitsu as a freshman at MIT.
