good ugrad business schools-- average act, high gpa?

I've already applied to the Carlson School of Business, but I'm thinking I should apply to at least one or two others. I'm just looking for suggestions of schools that have ugrad business programs that are decent. Comparable to Carlson, at least.

UWisconsin.
UTexas.
UWashington.

To name just a few.

Minny as you have done, Indiana, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa as a safety.

Ummm Harvard, Penn, seriously dude. Use that geodiversity to your advantage. ND is gorgeous btw.

I agree with jPoD. There are currently just 6 undergrads from North Dakota at the University of Michigan. Only South Dakota and Wyoming have fewer with 5 each! LOL!!!

I would definitely look at some selective schools like Georgetown, Michigan-Ann Arbor, Notre Dame and UVa. I would even apply to Wharton as an extreme reach. I mean, Carlson and Kelley (Indiana University) are practically safeties for you. Ioaw is definitely a safety for you. You may also want to look into Penn State, Ohio State, Wisconsin and UIUC as matches.

Yeah man. That area of the country is so nice too. OP should consider himself a lucky mofo. You can get into pretty much any decent school you want.

I'm considering applying to UMich. The only problem is that I would have to pay out of state tuition. That's why I'm leaning towards the U of Minnesota so much; I get to pay in-state tuition. Plus, Carlson is undergoing BIG changes that should make it maybe top 10.

miami university of ohio

Corey, if only your ACT score were higher, you would probably get a nice scholarship to Michigan.

Oh yeah, isn't North Dakota part of the MWSEP? Minnesota would be a great choice then. I almost applied there, vert underrated B-School and good tuition rates for midwest students.

Anyways, retake that ACT, or try the SAT. If you get it to a 30, I don't see a school in the country that wouldn't want you, but as of now that test score raises a red flag.
