Hi everyone! I'm looking for a good undergrad school for biomed engineering major. Actually, I'm in community college (Santa Monica College) right now and planning to submit my transfer application in Fall 2013. My concern is which colleges offer decent biomed engineering program? Also, will I have any chances to get accepted into those colleges with this resume?
-GPA: 3.7 probably 3.8 after this Fall. Also, volunteering in Alpha Gamma Sigma, and UCLA care extender.

From your choice in community college, I assume you’re from California. If that’s the case, then if you want to not spend as much money, I would say apply to UCSD and UC Berkeley. UCSD is #5 in rankings and Berkeley is #10, and they’re both in-state! It never hurts to apply. Remember: you have a 100% chance of not getting in if you don’t apply. Now, if you’re wanting to go out of state or have a bit more money, I’ll leave you the following link, for the top 10 BME schools.

I’m international so the tuition fees are three time as high in those UCs:(. That’s why I’m trying to find another school with lower tuition or at least offer some scholarships.
