Good undergraduate freshman courseload?

Hi, what do you guys recommend as essential classes and beneficial classes to take as a freshman when it comes to preparing for the MCAT/Med School admissions. Here is what I have in mind:

First Semester

Calculus III - Math requirement taken care of?
General Chemistry I
Writing/Composition Seminar
Biology*
Psychology

Second Semester

Physics II* - (Physics I credit obtained via AP)
Advanced Chemistry
A research class
Biology II

= able to take either semester (switchable)

Does this seem like a good freshman year schedule? What could be added and improved to better chances at admission into a good medical school and or prepare for MCATs?

That first semester is 18 credits, right? I would not recommend doing that to start off. Maybe do it second semester?
