Good universities for a HS drop out??

Like the title.says I was a HS drop out. Spent a bit of time in the Army, got out Been going to school for the last year and want to transfer. My problem is a lot of the schools I looked at want to still see HS transcripts. That was from over 6 years ago, a completely different person than I am now. So I was wondering do schools really take my terrible HS grades into consideration? Or are there any good universities that don't require HS transcripts?
I'd be a junior transfer with a 3.87. Looking at schools such as NYU, Columbia, Georgetown, UoChicago, Notre Dame, George Washington, Duke. Any other suggestions, I'd prefer an urban setting but for the right school that can be changed.

If you play the essay right the low high school grades can show off how you have evolved. But gwu and umiami don’t request any! also most state schools.P.s most schools would waive sat scores even if it doesn’t say so on their website.(for instance vanderbilt and unc )

Good job getting back into school! I dropped out of high school in 10th grade… I am currently waiting to hear back from several UC’s I have applied to. All the schools I did apply to wanted me to explain my “education gap” and high school was a long time ago. I would have been class of '02… Anyway, the point is I am doing TAG to UC Davis and they accepted the application. I also applied to some other schools like UCSB and LA. I am taking the LSAT in June because I have some down time before my transfer. The reality is all these schools need to have an accurate record of your progress but if you are doing well now and fulfill all the requirements you’ll get in!

Duke would be a very far shot due to their policy on accepting CC credits and just overall very low transfer rate %. Columbia is extremely difficult to transfer into as it is but you would probably have better luck than Duke. Those are the only two schools that you listed that I am familiar with but with your stats and you’re situation (make mega essays) I would say you have a chance at some you listed.

recant my opinion about duke. Look at the community college thread a few above this. If you crush your essays and get some good ECs man I think that you have a chance at all those.
