What are some good bio/science classes that are helpful for the mcat? Currently I am planning on having taken General Chem, Organic Chem, Physics, Intro to Bio, Genetics, and Cell Bio by the end of my junior year. Do you have any suggestions on other classes that could be helpful for when I take the mcat? Specifically, what are your thoughts on biochemistry, molecular bio, and human anatomy/physiology?

Physiology is probably #1
Biochem and molecular depend exactly on what is going to be covered in the classes. I got most of my molecular knowledge through a genetics lab course. My med school requires biochem and so had taken year already before the MCAT and found it a good class for synthesizing a lot of info from organic and some biology classes. The second course in the 2 course sequence however was a lot better for the MCAT than the first - but not all schools have a standard 2 course sequence.

physiology > genetics > cell biology/molecular biology > biochemistry or microbiology > anatomy
