Good urban colleges for a biomedical engineering major?

I’m a hs sophomore from NJ. I have a 4.0 gpa and on my most recent SAT practice test got a 1470 CR+M. I’m almost set on biomedical engineering and wouldn’t consider going to a school without it. I also would definitely prefer an urban college, but definitely a residential campus, and not too small. Currently I’m looking at these colleges:
Safeties:
Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago
University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in The Twin Cities
Ohio State University in Columbus
University of South Carolina in Columbia
Milwaukee School of Engineering in Milwaukee
Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis
North Carolina State University in Raleigh
Drexel University in Philadelphia
Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond
Low Matches :
George Washington University in DC
University of Illinois --Urbana Champaign
Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland
Match:
University of Wisconsin in Madison
University of Michigan in Ann Arbor
Boston University
High Match:
Washington University in St. Louis
Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh
Vanderbilt University in Nashville
Reach:
Yale University in New Haven
Northwestern University in Chicago
Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore
Columbia University in New York
Duke University in Durham
Brown University in Providence

**Note–I am not interested at all in colleges in New Jersey
Thanks so much!

You’re aware of the job prospects, right?

To be honest, it’s a bit early to be thinking about this…you don’t even have real SAT scores yet. Nobody ever got accepted based on a practice test. :stuck_out_tongue: Can you really be “set” on something as a sophomore? Keep working hard and revisit the list in a year.

Are you sure those schools are safeties? Your parents can afford the OOS costs for all of them?
