Clark University (Worcester)

American is in DC, as much a part of the city as Case Western is to Cleveland. It happens to surround a very nice residential area, has a defined campus (unlike the very urban GWU), but is close to Metro and fun stuff to do on Wisconsin and Connecticut Aves.
Catholic and Trinity are urban too.

Why wouldn't you recommend Temple? Just because it's in a bad area? I don't think it's THAT bad...

I've lived at American, never said it wasn't in D.C., but it's definently suburban, you might as well call Stanford and urban campus to San Jose or San Francisco.

I'll say I wouldn't recommend it, it not in a bad area it is a bad area, the book stores had barred window, the best facilities are the sports complexes and police station, and there are survelance cameras on every corner. I'm just suggesting that anyone that is considering Temple actually visit it see it before you apply.
