Hi guys! I'm looking to major in psychology, and I live in Oregon. So far my list is UCSD (top choice), UCD, Chapman, University of Puget Sound and University of Oregon (safety). Which of these are the best for psychology, and did I miss any good psych schools not on this list? I already know there's no chance for me to get into UCB or UCLA, btw

UC Davis also has an excellent psych program, as does UCSB. But I would not recommend paying OOS rates to attend a UC for psych.

Also consider U-Dub.

edited to add: not sure how I jumped the OP…

Great job of clairvoyance on your part, bluebayou, or extremely good job of anticipation. Good work…

Both Berkeley and UCLA are worth the OOS price, if you think USC, Pomona, Harvey Mudd and Claremont McKenna are worth the price.

Google it. There are lots of rankings like this: [url=http://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-graduate-schools/top-humanities-schools/psychology-rankings]Best Psychology Programs | Top Psychology Schools | US News Best Graduate Schools/url Then pick out the ones on the west coast that 1) offer the type of pysch you are most interested in and b) you can afford. Realize that without a grad degree, a psych major won’t take you very far, so plan ahead for that.
