@PugsAreCool Hey congrats! That makes 3/50 of the people who got in for the US program. The fact that you’re so willing to help others at your school is really commendable! Even though you don’t go to a target school, you played a role in quite a lot of different organizations, have a lot of relevant experience, and are part of one of Google’s community partner programs. I assure you those played a role as well in you getting in. Also, since you’re a Comp Sci minor, I’m assuming that you also have some programming knowledge, which also pushed you ahead of the pack in that regard as well (since there was a question that asked about that if I remember correctly).
Hey, I got waitlisted too. Did you hear anything back?@teddy4938
Nope, not yet. What about you @ThatsMe20 ?
@BladeHunter Yes definitely apply for the BOLD Internship! Don’t let this hinder you from applying
@Teddy4938, I received a follow up saying I would hear back by this week, but still nothing. How about you?
Anyone from EMEA heard back?
@Moniqk I haven’t yet. Have you? They said by June 2018 so I assume we’ll hear by the end of May or sometime during June.
@MAStudent101 No. Nothing yet. This is a looooong wait though
@Moniqk yeah for sure. I’m happy that you commented here, though I’ll be sure to post again if/when I hear back.
I am for emea too. …Nothing yet… such a long wait
Nothing yet as well after the Skype interview, I’m for EMEA… guess we’ll wait
Skype interview? When was that…Didn’t have any interview. Or is there any others person that did the Skype interview?
@marbul95 when did u have d Skype interview?
@toyouall I didn’t have a Skype interview either not a good sign I guess.
@Moniqk did you have a Skype interview?
@MAStudent101 can’t just believe that some already had interview…
@toyouall yeah, I wish they just rejected anyone who didn’t get to an interview stage so that we don’t have to wait so long for an answer… They never mentioned an interview stage before either.
well if that is the case, i just zero my mind from bold immersion this year.
@toyouall same here I hope I’m wrong and there’s another explanation but if they went through to the interview process with only people they are interested in without properly rejecting the rest, that’s really disappointing on Google’s part. Not very considerate of people’s time and effort…
@ MAStudent101 Yeah…That’s really unfair if they’ve actually interviewed those they want without properly send a rejection mail to others… But i guess we still need the guy that had d Skype interview to shield more light to this
