Google BOLD Internship 2014

That’s good. Did you hear anything back yet? Marketing is very interesting. What school do you attend?

Hey Cuddles, I also applied for marketing and I am majoring in business administration and management with a concentration in global business management and leadership. Ughhh this anticipation!! I can’t wait until we hear something!

I agree. The wait seems very long. Did you apply for a certain location? I said I was flexible.

Is it past the deadline to apply?

York40- yes it is. The deadline I think was back in November. They have other options on their internships/jobs page. Just Google, Google. hope this helps.

Lol, I feel like I pretty much gave it out in my last post.

KE9016- Yeah I don’t live in California. I live in Michigan. I was hoping they would have an opening at their Ann Arbor location. Good Luck!

I applied for the Mountain View location although I would really like to be in the san francisco location but I’m pretty sure they didn’t give that as an option. I really love the Bay area. It’s a beautiful down to earth place.

Shaidaboo- Exciting. Good luck to you! I never been to California. When do you think we will start hearing back? Perhaps in mid January?

I applied for Sales & Advertising, Customer Service, Marketing, or Finance positions in the New York City area. Anyone else apply to be in NYC?

Haroon7- I didn’t. However I heard NYC is amazing, and I bet their Google place there is great. Good luck. Hopefully we all we start hearing back soon.

I applied to the Mountain View area, hoping for law. Anyone else apply to the law department? From the last few years forums it doesn’t seem to be a popular one.

I’m curious, what was everyone’s GPA when they sent in their application? I emailed them my unofficial transcript with my Fall 2013 grades.

Has anyone applied to any other internships yet? I’m thinking about applying to Time Warner as well.

There don’t seem to be very many internships open with Time Warner, would most of the app periods have ended already? I would like to apply to Cisco, and I just sent in an app for Juniper Networks. Anyone know of other paid internships?

My heart rate rises merely thinking about when I’ll get another email :(. Good luck to everyone. I applied and said I was flexible about location and that I wanted to intern in the People Operations area. Although I live in Minnesota, it’s quite far away from their locations, but I’ve heard they help with relocation.

Best of luck all!

Good luck! People’s operations seems exciting. I live in Michigan and hoping to get into Ann Arbor location. Hopefully we will hear something soon. Also, I’m not sure about other paying internships.

Does anyone know what was required to turn in for the application of the internship program? I missed my deadline but I would just like to know what they were looking for… (Ex. Resume, cover letter, essay, etc?) :(

@shaidaboo, I emailed them and the Time Warner College program will be opening up “soon” to quote them. They told me to keep my eyes opened throughout January.

Google is my #1 but knowing how competitive it is, I’m also applying to TW and others as well! I’ve applied to about 2 more just this past break as I nervously await for my #1 choice.

@Jcr96211: Wow um I actually forgot already! I believe it was just a resume and a short essay required, and a cover letter encouraged but not necessary.

@cuddles: We applied to the same thing! My GPA was 3.8+ during time of application and now it’s exactly flat 3.8. I didn’t email them anything to update them… should we? LOL.

@lullabies Thanks for answering I was just curious, because my GPA is a 3.47 so it seems to low to be accepted. I do have leadership experience, and lot of volunteer experience, and I’m a blue oval scholar, but I don’t know if that is enough to stand out. Please let me know if you receive any updates. I wouldn’t send them an update because your GPA is high.
