<p>Does anyone know what the acceptance rate was this year? How many people applied, were offered phone interviews, then how many were offered in person interviews, and then how many got offers? I’m very interested to know. </p>

<p>today around noon i got an email. i interviewed two weeks ago in person in NYC on Tuesday. basically said that i was wait listed and will be informed if i get a job by early april</p>
<p>Also, it says something about a background check in the offer letter. Has anyone gotten anything from a background check “vendor”?</p>
<p>@beefs no, they said we would get it a couple of weeks prior to our start date once that has been confirmed.</p>
<p>Hey onexchange I am also an applicant from Canada and I haven’t heard anything from google,. As far as I know only one person from Canada in this forum got an answer of rejection… I gave up already but I am also wondering if there is a chance they haven’t gotten around to Canadian applicants.</p>

<p>oh my gosh I just got a call from my recruiter. after prepping myself for a rejection this whole time I got an offer!! MOUNTAIN VIEW 2011!!!</p>

<p>Thanks confused, you could email your recruiter and ask when you should expect to hear back if you want to. That’s what I did this afternoon because they told me last week I should hear back by the 18th. Good luck to you!</p>

i’ve been reading the message board for a few weeks. i’ve had an interesting experience with the interview process so far. i’ve interviewed for 2 departments for MTV but only to have found out they were not moving forward with any more interviews (maybe a nice rejection letter?). now i’ve been offered another interview with another department but they said this would be my final interview and it would consist of one 30 minute phone interview. i hope i really get the internship and good luck to everyone else! does anyone who has received an offer have any tips for the final interview? thanks so much!</p>
