I’m at the U of Illinois, majoring in political science. On pins and needles…

well tomorrow starts another week so we might hear back…hopefully it’s for interviews :)

mrmewe…as in ILL-INI?

!

@BrasilianSurfer1 ILL-INI! indeed!!! what college/major are you in?

I have a question for you all: were you able to say that you heard about the internship from one of the “Partner Organizations” they talked about in the application?

I personally was not, I just heard about it from Google’s job website, and I’m hoping that won’t be too big of a deal…

I wasn’t able to either…maybe that’s why some people have heard before us?

Hey ILL-INI…soo good to find each other here. I am in the COB, studying Marketing and International Business! Message me!

The partner organizations are just so Google can keep track of how many organization that it invests in actually apply to Google programs.

Good Luck everyone:)!

No I heard about it from the job website as well. I’m sure its not going to make a impact on the application or atleast it shouldn’t.

I was also looking over the application online again and it says you must be enrolled in a 4 year BA/BS program which I am but at a University which I’m not since I’m at a college. But they haven’t sent me a rejection e-mail yet so should I be worried about not being enrolled at a University??? Thanks

You’re fine.

I sure hope so. Getting even more nervous now.

I sure hope so. Just getting a bit anxious like everyone.

There is no way they could fault you for being in a college. Plus, college and university are generally used interchangeably.

Yay to Event Management!!! I didn’t know they had that major at other schools! So cool!

I still haven’t heard anything–should I be freaking out yet? Hope I hear soon!!!

Has anyone heard yet? Wishing everyone good luck!

I know its such a cool major! Well I think you should start freaking out after Feb. 21st thats when the cut off is.

And I’m sure we’ll all hear back very soon!

I just heard back guys… bad news
Best of luck to everyone else.

Have you applied to other places as well? If you’re at UW, then there should be some very impressive companies recruiting at your school…

Good luck on the rest of your apps :)

I am in the process of applying other places… not going to lie though, I really wanted to intern with Google. I guess I really need to step up my resume/cover letter game…

Thank you! :)

Yes there are so many good places to intern if you go to UW so dont give up hope davism12! Have you tried Amazon, Microsoft, or Boeing yet?

I wish you the best of luck:)

Good News
