Cornell University, East Ave, Ithaca, NY

just type cornell university Ithaca in the directions bar thats what i do and it works

I'm assuming this is a joke and you're pretending to be someone who applied to cornell college instead of cornell university.

Congrats. Cornell College is a fine school. Hopefully, you'll like Iowa.

clearly its a joke. name= smart dude, purposefully mentioned ivy league and mispelled it, and spelled thank you wrong. come on.

read this dear uncle ezra question, it's pretty bad

Dear Uncle Ezra,
I applied early decision to Cornell and was excited (and a little surprised, to be honest) to be accepted. I am planning on visiting with my family soon, since I have never been to the campus, but we're a little confused. I always thought that Cornell is in upstate New York (which is what the web site says.) But the little info sheet about planning your visit gives directions to Mount Vernon, Iowa, which is hundreds of miles away from New York. What's the deal? Please respond quickly - I'm really excited about visiting and can't wait to start at Cornell!

Dear New Student,

Your misunderstanding is a common one. Cornell University is indeed in upstate New York, in the town of Ithaca.

Cornell "College", is a completely different place, also a good school, and it can be found in Mount Vernon, Iowa.

I'm not sure which place you were accepted to, but I'm sure you will figure that out soon.

do you guys think that the uncle ezra one was a joke too?

and smartdude, you're awesome.

I just found this page at CornellCollege.edu about "We're Not in Ithaca"

http://cornellcollege.edu/about-cornell/not-in-ithaca.shtml

Thought it was kinda funny.

"And we’re not one to brag, but we have a higher percentage of alumni listed in Who’s Who in America than they do."

ha

"Our mascot is a ram; theirs is a bear (Big Red) who seems to have been named after a chewing gum."

lol?

I think the one-course-at-a-time system is rather interesting. A lot of med schools use this system but I think it'd be rather boring at an undergrad level to only take one course at a time.

wow norcalguy, wow!

Students don't take one course at a time; faculty only teach one course at a time.

Actually, it's both.

"Just as students take one course at a time, Cornell [College] faculty teach one course at a time."

One-Course-At-A-Time

Like I said...interesting.

was Cornell college the school where students took one course at a time? I forget.
