I have not seen a recent thread about wireless coverage, so here goes. Our D will be starting a Ph.D. program at Stanford in the fall, so it is time to move her off our wireless plan. (She just graduated from college.) DW and I are planning to switch to Google’s Project Fi, which uses Wi-Fi when available, and T-Mobile or Sprint otherwise. Since D has to find a carrier for herself, I am curious whether anyone has experience with Project Fi in the Stanford area. Google claims to provide 4G service throughout the campus, so I presume that Wi-Fi coverage is good. Is it?
